Hey. I don't know how we got here, but thanks for being here. I'm Malcolm Bellew, a latchkey misfit, from Cleveland OH. Growing up, I've spent a lot of time living in uncertainty, and grade-school felt like an endless maze I couldn't navigate. Dead-end jobs became my reality.

But amidst the turmoil, there was always art + music. From the moment I could remember, these were the catalyst's of my life. Whether I was strumming a guitar or busting out some wild-ass drawing, creativity was always my refuge—a lifeline.

I stumbled upon design at a vocational school as a junior in high school, but flunked out. I came back to it again at Cuyahoga Community College in 2015, and won 1st place as the top graduating designer, in 2019. I have an Associates Degree in Graphic Design & Visual Communication.

Prior to college, I discovered screen printing via my homie in the punk rock scene, and during college, a professor donated a small screen printing press to me. Here was a medium that allowed me to merge my love for design with my hands-on, DIY ethos. From the first pull of the squeegee, I knew I had found my true calling—a way to channel my creativity and leave my mark on the world.

Today, I stand as a testament to resilience and determination. Through hard work and perseverance, I've transformed my life from one of struggle to one of purpose. And as I continue to pursue my passion for design and screen printing, music remains a constant companion—a reminder of how far I've come and the endless possibilities that lie ahead.

This is my journey—from misfit to maker. And the best part... The story is far from over!

Join me on my journey of discovery, creation, and uncharted territories, as I delve into the cess pools of my mind. This is misled.media
